There are times when I feel my childhood was filled with little pieces of pop iconography that everyone else somehow missed. This is not really the case, as I'll ultimately find someone else who caught the show, song, pratfall, etc. Still, at times it makes me doubt my memories.
Tonight, while surfing the wonder that is digital cable, I caught Brother Bear. If you get a chance, you may want to skip this one. It seems like further proof that Disney 2D is circling the drain with greater speed.
A minor bright point in the movie's extremely thin plot where the moose. I immediately recognized them as Bob & Doug McKenzie. They did a shtick that looks dated now, but only because it's been borrowed so often. Their show was popular enough they ultimately made a movie.
In the train wreck of Brother Bear, the pair from the Great White North doing their thing was kind of fun. Granted, their thing was watered down and unspired like the rest of the film, but what could you expect?
Anyway, since someone didn't know who these to hosers were. I had to share.
