Hydrogen sulfide, H2S, sulfane, etc, is an evil little gas that most people know as the reek of rotten eggs. It's liberated far too easily from sulfuric acid (H2SO4) and was the source of much chemistry mayhem as a child.
I don't know what kind of organic alchemy results in sulfane exploding forth from humans. I don't know if lighting a candle helps. I'm not sure at what point it is possible to succumb to the fumes and die. Or, if the whiskers on my cat will ever grow back.
I do know I wish I didn't have to ask myself these questions. OMFG, I need a vacuum hose and a hazmat suit.
