Tis Thor's day and the fourth day of Microsoft SQL Server class is about to commence.

The class is surprising good. The instructor, a former nuclear engineer, is exceptional. He teaches most of the developer classes as well at this stuff, so he's got a good perspective on the stuff. He also has great war stories of people meeting their end in fission follies.

Being me, I have to comment on the food. Day one, standard bagel fair. Not bad, I had one for breakfast and one for lunch, along with way too much coffee and soda. If food offerings stayed at day one level, I'd be ok.

Day two, croissants. The light airy little bits breaded butter nothing that only the French would call a meal. I had a few, didn't feel good about it.

Day three. Well, it will be either bagels again, the French filler, or something else. It was donuts. In terms of nutritive value, we're starting to really slide here.

Before this morning, if the trend continued, I'd expect to see a bagel reset or halloween candy. Well, the trend continued, but in an unforeseen direction.

Day four. Muffins. Not real muffin, no. These really are a step down from Dunkin Donuts. They're the monster cake beasts that say they only have 250kcal until you realize they have five servings. They should be air dropping these things somewhere.

As if to acknowledge the unhealthy lack of food, the woman maintaining the spread has helpfully cut them in half. It doesn't really help, but does ensure they'll be extra pawed over.

Tomorrow is the last day. Should be fun. Halloween candy, anyone?

Well if you end up with halloween candy! Hopefully it's the good stuff.

Bagels good, the rest of that stuff is crap.
