You thought there'd be rants of substance? Dream on! Ultimately it's all pedantic tripe, the best we can hope for is to be amused at the time.
Someone asked me what the hell "ubuntu" was in my interests. It's the current flavor of Linux I'm enjoying, quite nice if you're into that sort of thing. Of course, if you are, you're a huge geek.
So, I just threw up this post, and the last, with a little program called LogJam. The text is cut and pasted from AbiWord because I feel spelling is subjective and no once else agrees.
And when I get done with all that, it hits me, like the guy in Darth Vader costume who's been sleeping on the sidewalk for opening day, "Damn, I'm such a geek."
You know what, there are worse alternatives. I could be into sports, after all.
