Santa comes late

Well, the big gift I gave this year was an iPod. It was a mini, the most portable but also the smallest capacity of the modern Apple viral digital music phenomena.

Personally, I thought 4GB was was extremely impressive, but it seems that size matters. So, the mini was traded in for a maxi ( 40GB ), Santa was extra giving. Figuring I'd be tech support, Santa got me a 20GB iPod, yay me.

I feel somehow dirty using Apple tech. Still, it's a neat little gizmo and I'm already fond if it. Even if it's too stupid to play nice with linux.

A couple of friends got the new MORPG World of Warcraft. After being burnt by EQ II, we were leery. However, early reports are good. Of course, deciding to get WoW this close to the xmas madness has been challenging.

loosecanon managed to get one copy of WoW after much questing. She seems happy with it and is relaying to me all the cool features it has. I'm trying to be supportive but I'm jealous as hell. I wanna play too! :p

I have a gnecro on stormrage, just to get the feel. Wistan is playing a horde bull on Lightning right now, we have a friend there. When we get another account, we will pick a server and a side. What side are you on?

A bunch of us are on Icecrown, alliance side. I've also got an undead on Icecrown that I created to show my brother-in-law what the game was like.

I would try the Alliance side, but it's fun to be bad. And trolls laugh like insane monkeys.
