I used Yahoo Mail for years, ditched it when GMail came along and didn't look back. They've added a number of whiz bang features since then. They all go whiz if you have a huge amount of bandwidth; on dialup it's mostly bang, crash, boom, fizzle, etc.
My mother in law is on dailup. She complained to me about Yahoo mail, because I could "fix" it. Then she complained to her daughter, because she can fix it. Then she complained to Yahoo, who apparently won't fix it. Then her daughter complained to me. Sigh.
There must be a way to go back to the old version. No javascript, no flashy crap, just mail, right? Below is a simulation of my down grade experience. Yes, the link works just like that. And around we go...
