Flicking through channels, we see there's a Wonderfalls marathon. Never heard of the show, you're not alone. They cancelled the poor thing about three episodes in.
I love this show, I saw all three episodes. It's quirky with some really good writing.
Sample dialog.
Lawyer 1: Remember the time you got our 200 year old mascot banned from campus?
Lawyer 2: It was the a sexist symbol of patriarchal oppression.
Lawyer 1: It was a beaver.
Now, the odd thing, the show's playing on the Logo network. Never heard of that? Me either. It's "the first and only 24/7 channel for the LGBT community", i.e. all gay all the time. From what I can tell from the commercials, the programming is as painfully stereotypical, like BET but without so much rapping.
So, I go to look for Wonderfalls listings under Logo on my TV guide. Not there. Apparently my cable company doesn't approve of the focus of the channel and carries it under protest. That's a big ole WTF for today.
