This morning, 6:00AM, I drove [livejournal.com profile] loosecanon to help Dave's boat chase the tide. After the boat trundled away, affixed to home grown, Built-by-Dave, towing rig, I journeyed home.

Driving around at 6:30 on a Sunday morning is kind of fun. I had a major dyslexic episode and turned the wrong way out of Dave's driveway. I righted myself quickly, but decided to get a little lost again on the way home, just to learn some local roads.

Lastly, I got food at McD's, something I never do in the morning. If you'd asked me yesterday what the worst coffee I'd ever had was, I'd have said "Burger King" without a second thought. Now I'm not so sure.

I wonder if the Burger Barons make crappy coffee because they can. Let's see if people are so addicted to our junk food they'll endure this? Hell, why spend money on coffee, we have grease.

The food was quite tasty, a Sausage McGriddle and hash brown puck. My arteries say *blerk*. You know, everyone goes on about the evils of junk food, or even the evils of drugs, but they rarely disclose the catalyst of the evil.

Junk food tastes good. Drugs feel good. It's only later, when forced to deal with the repercussions of that good feeling, that we realise it mightn't have been a good idea. The problem is, we are told so often that something is bad, when it seems good up front we begin to question all the well meaning propaganda. If all the nay sayers would admitted a little yea, maybe more folks would listen?
